On the occasion of the 40^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Fiji, I wish to extend warm congratulations to you.

The past 40 years of China-Fiji diplomatic relations have seen increasingly frequent exchanges at various levels and further deepening of cooperation in extensive areas between our two countries. Last year, President Xi Jinping paid a successful state visit to Fiji and leaders of both countries reached consensus on establishing the Strategic Partnership of Mutual Respect and Common Development. I stand ready to work with you to make earnest effort to implement the important consensuses reached between our leaders, so as to push forward the continuous development of China-Fiji relations.
