Q: On October 20, Afghan Independent Election Commission announced that a second round of voting in its presidential election would be held on November 7. What's China's comment?

A: China has taken note of the latest developments in Afghan presidential election. The election is Afghanistan's internal affair. China respects the choice of the Afghan people, and hopes that the election process will be smooth and successful so that Afghanistan will embark on a path towards peace, stability and development at an early date.
