On January 27-28, G20 Strong, Sustainable and Balanced Growth Framework Working Group (FWG) held its first meeting in 2016 in Beijing. The meeting is co-organized by the People’s Bank of China (PBC), Ministry of Finance, and the FWG’s co-chairs, Canada and India. Mr. Yi Gang, Deputy Governor of the PBC, addressed the meeting. Participants discussed the FWG’s work plan in 2016, global economic situation and managing short-term risks, structural reform, investment and trade, and growth strategies. Representatives from G20 members, guest countries, as well as international organizations attended the meeting.
